We have been in Everest Basecamp 5.315 meters for five days now. Everest Basecamp is a beautiful place surrounded with mountains on all sides. We have not had any wifi or telephone connection after we left Labuche Tuesday little over a week ago. Today have we arrived in Labuche village 4.910 meters again. That was the last place I had wifi connection and published on my Facebook page Livealifeinmotion. Tomorrow will we continue to the high camp at Labuche Peak East 6.119 meters, which is our next step on our acclimatisation program.
The days in Everest Basecamp has been relaxing. We have mowed in to our tents that will be our “home” for the next 5 – 6 weeks. We have participated in the main Puja for our expedition which is a Buddhist religious seremony so shall bring us good fortune on the expedition. We have also practiced a little bit on the climbing technic we will use when we start climbing the day after tomorrow on Labuche Peak East.
We are all with good spirit and in good condition. So far have I not had any problems with the altitude or been sick. Life is good.
